Apples & Oranges; Isaac Newton
I think I was most excited to read about Isaac Newton. After I came across his name throughout history and science books, I was always interested in his theory. Reading about his lifestyle, I can see how he was getting closer to his famous equation. The fact that he had bullies all throughout his life is what motivated him to reach his fullest potential. Also, Newton always had a stimulating interest in anything that seem a mystery to him. After all, one observation he made was the start of his research on gravity. That one observation was when he was startled by the thud of an apple falling from a nearby tree, and thoughts came racing through his head. Newton noticed how the apple fell straight down rather than sideways then he concluded that the closer the distance between the two centers the stronger the attraction and vice versa. His famous equation is still imprinted in history. It was his equation that helped astronomers to pinpoint approximate calculations to successfully land a man on moon. But there is some controversies pertaining to this remarkable event. Do you think the landing on moon was just an attention grabber to attract fame especially from Russia as a way to compete? Regardless, Newton has discovered the law of gravity which could have been still a mystery today.
