Daniel Bernoulli

My first thought was, “Was the competition so tight, that even father and son had to compete vigorously for first place?” Bernoulli’s relationship with his father was definitely weakened because of such tight competition, which ended up making him and his father the winners of a competition. I mean, how could you not be proud of your own son, following in your footsteps, and wanting to make you proud? Honestly, I would be thrilled to see my son in such state. Bernoulli’s father’s jealousy overtook him and resulted in him taking credit for his son work in Hydrodynamics. Bernoulli, a Newton-idolizing protégé, eventually lost his passion in math because of his tormenting father. Although the equation is represented by the name Bernoulli, no credit should go to Daniel’s twisted father. Daniel’s father lit the fire of passion in math for him, and his father blew out that same fire, years later. What kind of sick father would do that?
