Rudolf Clausius; An Unprofitable Experience

After reading about Rudolf Clausius, I could see where the most basic principles of Chemistry came from. For example, the law of Energy Conservation and Mass Conservation. That made logically sense to me because what you start with pertaining to mass and energy should also be equivalent to what you end with; it doesn't make sense that some of the mass or energy disappeared like magic. I found the unnatural and natural processes pretty interesting. To observe heat in its natural state, the heat flows from hot to cold. Who would have knew that we can reverse the process to an unnatural process? In today's society, I think we take advantage of the fact what science and math can offered us because we're used to high tech equipment that we don't realize how easy we have it now. For example, everything we used in our daily lives relate to the unnatural process of heat such as our refrigerators that we used to keep food and beverages cool or air conditioners in the summer. The unraveling of Science and Mathematics by numerous of legendary people not only increase our knowledge of the world, but also made our lives a "luxury" as it is now.
