Daniel Bernoulli

While reading this book, it was the first time I've ever heard of Daniel Bernoulli and his contributions to the scientific world. While there is no doubt Bernoulli wasn't as famous our widely known as Einstein, or even his role model Newton, there is also little dispute that he was nonetheless an influential figure. Maybe the only thing more unfortunate then Bernoulli's work with Hydrodynamics not being as widely recognized as it should have been, was his relationship with his father. This relationship, while starting out merely as a competition to force each other to strive and get better, led to the eventual loss of interest and stealing of credit from Bernoulli. It's sad to think that someone that played such an influential part in his life, like Bernoulli's father did, could also be responsible for the loss of passion.
