Rudolf Clausius

Growing up without a mother, Rudolf Clausius lived a life of great accomplishments that led him to becoming another great mind. Deriving his theory of energy from James Joule and William Thomson, both these scientists tried to take credit for his work. Maybe it was growing up without a mother that gave Clausius a rough exterior that allowed him to not be pushed around and have others take credit for his work. Clausius Second Law was one that was held supreme at his time, and still is. But unlike a lot of other people, Clausius didn't allow this fame to go to his head, but instead remained humble. Clausius was a man given a tough start, but he didn't allow that to determine what he would do with the rest of his life.
